Overview

This position performs complex data analysis to identify factors that affect business profitability, growth, and efficiency. Assesses a wide scope of business practices, information, and industry trends. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues. Prepares technical reports by examining and summarizing data and creates specifications to support business initiatives. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects as needed.

  • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs advanced data analysis, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
  • Operational Support - Provides support for business operations by responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and working to improve team practices. Assists in streamlining daily workflow for overall unit, resolving escalated matters where possible. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units.
  • Identifying Objectives - Determines business needs through complex analysis and reporting. Develops strategies to achieve company and department goals, and communicates these using specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation.
  • Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on reporting.

Additionally:

The Audio Visual (AV) Business Analyst will work closely with the business, IT, Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Facilities, and AV third-party vendors to coordinate and successfully deliver AV solutions to First Citizen Bank's offices and branches. The AV Business Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining key documentation and workflows - from procurement to hand off for implementation. They will be expected to lead meetings with the various teams and third-party vendors. Initiative, documentation, tracking and communication will be key to success in this role. This is a young department, and the Business Analyst will contribute to the ongoing development of processes.

Responsibilities

  • General understanding of AV equipment and scope of work for AV installations in office and retail branch spaces.
  • Work closely with the approved AV vendor.
  • Track AV rooms throughout their project lifecycle for AV: (1) Room refresh, (2) Net new VC room requests, (3) CRE projects, (4) and Break / Fix room tickets.
    • AV project lifecycle includes: (1) Site survey, (2) Proposal received, (3) Proposal review and sign off with AV engineer, customer, and or CRE/Facilities, (4) Manage TPRM and PO process, (5) AV drawing review, (6) Equipment order, (7) Installation schedule, (8) Final room sign off, (9) and Invoice payment processing.
  • Work closely with AV Implementation Engineer.
    • Submit tickets and track to create Outlook meeting rooms.
    • Schedule room installation/commissioning - with FCB resources.
    • Review BOM on quotes for accuracy.
  • Work closely with CRE or Facilities for room construction.
  • Manage Room Readiness for AV installation and commissioning.
  • Heavy meeting schedule as part of the AV lifecycle.
    • Weekly meeting with AV vendor for project status.
    • Weekly meeting with AV vendor for contract reviews.
    • Weekly meeting with AV vendor for new business opportunities.
    • Vendor / customer meetings to review proposals, drawings, and installation schedule.
  • Manage TPRM and PO Process
    • Enter approved proposals into Archer (TPRM portal).
    • SOW contract review to finalize proposal for signature.
    • Track approvals.
    • PR/PO process in Coupa.
    • Provide accounting coding for equipment, room installation, and room device maintenance and support.
    • Track approvals to final PO issued.
    • Inform vendor and customer when PO received.
  • Excellent communication skills demonstrated through leading meetings, emails, spreadsheet tracking, dashboard tracking, and peers.
  • Work through AV room backlog list.
  • Take over existing projects: 30 locations with 176 rooms currently in flight.
  • Digital signage for branches.
  • Tracking room warranty schedule. Responsible to keep rooms on support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in AV coordination or IT business analyst, or High School diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in AV coordination or IT business analyst.
  • Background in project coordination.
  • Knowledge of AV systems for office and retail branch spaces. Preferred Cisco AV equipment knowledge.
  • Knowledge of contracts and Statement of Work (SOWs)..
  • Excel and Word proficiency. Ability to update information and ability to set up new spreadsheets and Word documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to business and technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically.

The base pay for this position is generally between $85,000 and $130,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
