Ambulatory Outreach Coordinator CARDIOLOGY SERVICES Full Time 86984BR Job Summary The Administrative Coordinator will be oversee a number of operational functions in support of the Interventional Cardiology Labs (Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology). This role will be the primary liaison between UCSF West Bay and UCSF Stanyan Hospital with a primary focus on Interventional Cardiology procedures. This role will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of outpatient interventional cardiovascular procedures at UCSF St. Mary's Hospital; ensuring appropriate authorization has been obtained and documented; communicating with referring and performing providers, patients, and other UCSF peers or administrative teams; daily review of outpatient and any inpatient requests; maintaining a collaborative effort with the UCSF revenue management team and other key stakeholders to ensure appropriate and accurate billing reconciliation and supply utilization; working with department based leadership at both sites to ensure operational efficiency and productivity. To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.html Department Description The Interventional Cardiology Department serves patients in need of cardiovascular services including coronary angiography, heart catheterization, pacemaker implantation, cardiac arrythmia ablation, valvular heart disease corrective procedures, and other interventional cardiovascular diagnostic testing. The lab footprint at UCSF St. Mary's Hospital encompasses three labs on one floor. These labs service primarily outpatient scheduled procedures with a limited amount of inpatient testing.
