This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording and reporting of nonoperated oil and gas revenue. This role reviews purchaser statements and payment details, prepares and records revenuerelated journal entries in SAP, and ensures proper application of debits and credits in accordance with GAAP. The position supports the monthend close through account reconciliations, variance analysis, and adherence to revenue distribution deadlines. This role partners crossfunctionally to resolve revenue discrepancies, maintain strong internal controls, and support continuous improvement within the Revenue Accounting function. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Review purchaser check details and analyze nonoperated revenue activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies Partner with Purchasers, Operators, and internal stakeholders to research and resolve revenue variances and outstanding items Prepare, review, and upload revenuerelated journal entries and vouchers in SAP, ensuring proper application of debits and credits in accordance with GAAP Support the monthend close by meeting revenue distribution deadlines and preparing/reviewing revenuerelated account reconciliations Ensure all revenue documentation and supporting backup is properly maintained in compliance with internal controls and recordretention standards Provide support to the Revenue Accounting team and participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BBA or BS) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of five (5+) years of experience in oil and gas accounting, with a strong focus on revenue reporting Experience working within the PRA module of SAP or similar revenue accounting systems Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced use of VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and SUMIF formulas Solid understanding of revenue accounting, production accounting, and general ledger accounting principles Preferred Qualifications: Three (3+) or more years of direct revenue reporting or nonoperated revenue accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting Demonstrated experience identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting close deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and accounting concepts Diamondback is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
