This position is responsible for co-facilitating one or more of the aforementioned leadership development programs within the Collective Leadership Initiative. Ideal facilitators in this program are trauma-informed, Colorado-based, experienced, and energetic individuals who are expansive thinkers, agile learners, and passionate about leading transformative experiences. This position has expertise in facilitating activities and experiences that foster meaningful partnership within groups. Facilitating on this account provides an incredibly fun, boots-on-the-ground, meaningful opportunity to explore health equity and justice in Colorado communities. In the process, you learn what it takes to develop leaders who are actively working to challenge systems, build communities, change culture, and bolster progress for all Coloradans. Facilitators are responsible for creating a psychologically safe learning environment for individuals and groups. In the process of creating a psychologically safe learning environment, facilitators are responsible for using a trauma-informed approach to delivering content with high emotional intelligence. This includes maintaining keen awareness of one's identity in relation to members of the group, as well as one's own stress and trauma response, in addition to those of the individuals in the group. The space that this position creates to optimize learning and growth is one that models equity, elicits contributions from all members of the very diverse group, and sponsors a group culture that safeguards connection through inclusive practices. As a result of effective facilitation, participants in this program will be equipped to strengthen the statewide and community ecosystem that makes meaningful change and advances health equity. This term-limited, grant-funded position reports to the Program Director and works closely with the program staff and delivery teams for each of the programs. Delivery teams consist of facilitators, program staff, Spanish language interpreters, wellbeing specialists, and members of the client team. The Program Director provides oversight for each program and assigns delivery teams according to the unique needs of each program and audience.
