About our group:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Storage Systems Engineer to support our T1 customers. This role involves working directly with customers to understand their requirements, troubleshoot issues, and then work with development to deliver to those needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in storage technologies and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

About the role - you will:

  • Collaborate with customers to define their product requirements and goals and champion those back into the organization.
  • Work with presales on integration and implementation process for a customer and ensure the development plan is in sync.
  • Lead process between customer and development to define goals of product releases
  • Champion any integration or field issues brought up by customers development team
  • Communicate the issue and state between customer and development
  • Work with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Stay current with emerging storage technologies and industry trends.

  • Lead from technical depth to understand the customers' requirements / issues / problems and champion those into the organization

  • Think smarter and not harder to meet the customer needs

Your experience includes:

  • Experience in customer facing, systems engineering or technical support roles.
  • Understanding of storage protocols including SAS, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, and Fibre Channel.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud storage solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering related field (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, Materials, Physics, or Information Technology) and 5+ years of experience or Master's degree in the same and 3+ years' experience or PhD and 0+ years' experience or equivalent experience and education.



You might also have:




  • Experience with containerized environments and Kubernetes storage.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Location:

This position can be onsite in our Longmont, Colorado office or can be remote.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $92,310.40 - $131,994.72. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
