Material Handler - Fremont, CA

Join our team as a Material Handler! This role is key to ensuring smooth operations by distributing materials safely and efficiently within and outside the facility. Pay: $21 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities



  • Safely distribute and transport materials throughout the facility and externally
  • Accurately process and maintain inventory, receiving, and shipping reports
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage and document exceptions on inbound freight BOL
  • Crate, package, and store materials according to OMS and multi-customer guidelines
  • Use bar code scanners and enter data accurately into the ERP system
  • Operate hand trucks, pallet jackets, and scales safely
  • Follow written and verbal instructions while cross-training in multiple departments
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage and work areas following 5S principles
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient warehouse operations



Required Skills & Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret forms, reports, and instructions accurately
  • Basic computer literacy and experience with ERP or bar-coded inventory systems preferred
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with heavier items
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE)


Preferred Skills



  • Forklift certification (if required)
  • 1+ year of experience in material handling, shipping & receiving, or warehouse operations
  • Experience with inventory control, packaging, and assembly prep



Work Environment & Physical Demands



  • Work is performed primarily in a warehouse/office environment
  • Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, grasp, and lift as required
  • Visual acuity required for task accuracy
  • May be exposed to electrical current, moving mechanical parts, or chemicals
  • Occasional overnight travel for training or meetings
