Leprino, a global leader in the dairy food and ingredient industry, is seeking a Cheese MilkFortifier/Receiver Operator to join our teamlocatedin Roswell, NM.Leprinois theworld's largest supplier of mozzarella cheese and one of the largest suppliers of premium dairy nutrition ingredients. Our customers and business partners span the globe and include many of the world's largest food companies, restaurantchainsand distributors.

The MilkFortifier/Receiver must be able to perform basic mathematical functions. The incumbent must be able to read andcomprehendprocedures, whichdirect theposition'sassignments. The MilkFortifier/Receiver must be able to communicate well between departments such as Production, Quality Control,Warehouseand milk external haulers. In addition, the individual must be able to communicate well with otheroperatorsthesilo status.

The MilkFortifier/Receiveralso must be able to make mechanical hookups for transfer of milk to silos and for sanitation. The position requires standing, walking, climbing, and lifting milk hoses for each load of milk being received. The position requiresa constantpaperwork handling to verify ticket numbers, load numbers, andinput ofthis information into the computer.

At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $20.32 and $21.78.In addition, anight shift premium of $1.25 per hour is added for hours worked between 6 PM and 6 AM.

  Perform all required temperature and sampling procedures for each incoming load of milk according to written guidelines.

  Makeappropriate hookupsfor milk silos, blending equipment and inject lines to transfer product, as perthe DailyOperating Plan.

  Safely andproperly usean electric pallet jack to unload Non-fat dry milk powder totes from docked trailer to powder hopper area. Following trailer safety procedures.

  
  

• 
  

  Safely andproperly usehoist system and powder blending system to blend Non-fat dry milk product.

  
  

• 
  

  Makeappropriate hookupsfrom receivingtankersand transferproductto correct silo.

  
  

• 
  

  Accurately andaseptically take representative samples ofproductfortesting. Follow up on test results with Quality Department and Cheese Supervisor / Foreperson.

  Follow procedures for cream shipments.

  Operate and assemble milk pumps properly toeliminateproduct loss.

  Properly cleanand sanitize all equipment as required by company procedures,maintainhousekeeping in area.
