General Responsibilities:

The Regional Director will manage the regional program's quality, clinical, staffing and financial outcomes. Ensure compliance with GA Clinical Standards for operation of intensive in-home crisis supports and crisis support homes. Serve as the clinical supervisor for regional program, including coordination with contracted psychiatrists and other physicians, and state of GA officials.

Regional Director will oversee Region 6 Crisis Homes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points.
  • Maintain quality outcome data
  • Reviews all critical incidents and incidents of physical intervention
  • Maintain individual confidentiality.
  • Ensures compliance with Best Practices Standards for Behavioral Support Services
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Assistant Crisis Director for assigned region
  • Assist in the development of an annual operational budget for the region's crisis assistance program within the levels of contractual funding.
  • Operate the region's crisis assistance program within the established operational budget guidelines.
  • Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
  • Conduct monthly site inspections of the home and ensure the home (physical plant) maintains all safety, health and DBHDD standards.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with DBHDD for assigned region(s)
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and trainings

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work or a related field
  • BCBA, LCSW, LPC or LMFT in good standing
  • At least 2 years' experience with behavioral supports evaluation and services for people with developmental disabilities
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervision experience
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum
  • Maintain valid CPR and First Aid Certification

Preferred:

  • 3 years' experience as Behavior Analyst working with individuals with IDD who are in crisis
  • Experience with budget management
  • Knowledge of DBHDD service system
  • 3 years' experience supervising professional clinical staff
