Job Description:

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support the proposal, negotiation, and execution (including modifications) of a diverse portfolio of contracts within our Air Traffic Management (ATM) business unit. This portfolio includes United States, international, commercial, and Government customers. This position may be based in Syracuse, NY or hybrid remote near one of Saab's other facilities in Quincy, MA, Orlando, FL, or Auburn Hills, MI.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions.

  • Administering contracts from award through completion.

  • Negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements and Memorandums of Agreement.

  • Performing and communicating contractual risk analyses throughout all phases of the contract lifecycle.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% (typically 1 - 2 trips per quarter).

Compensation Range:

Syracuse, NY, Orlando, FL, Auburn Hills, MI, and Remote: $78,900 - $98,600

Quincy, MA: $94,600 - $118,300

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience OR MBA or JD with 3+ years of experience.

  • Demonstrated experience managing and administering contracts from the capture phase through close-out for multiple contract types.

  • Working knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) agreement.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple tasks, and support concurrent requirements for different internal and external customers.

  • Ability to prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to contract issues, including identifying contract terms or conditions that require exceptions or modifications.

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate Requests for Proposal and develop proposal responses.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with international customers.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP.

  • Working knowledge of Government contracting concepts including FAR, DFARS, and AMS (FAA) requirements.

  • NCMA certification.
