| Purpose of Position |
The Slate Analyst will be responsible for direct support of the Director of Slate Innovation in the managing of the daily functions of Slate. This position will also contribute significantly to the quality control practices, assisting the outreach team on data creation and analytics, and supporting other areas and offices with queries, reports, events. |
| Primary Responsibilities |
- Assist Director of Slate Innovation with daily Slate functions and perform quality control including import management, consolidate records, query creation and maintenance, and communication support.
- Assist with material uploads and transcript processing and creation of the process when integrated into Slate.
- Serve as main point of contact for campus partners with data collection, query requests, form creation, and user permission updates.
- Assist with creation and executing Slate training for Admissions and campus partners.
- Assist Director of Slate Innovation with Slate builds including event and website portals, creation of forms, registration systems, and more as functionality in Slate expands.
- Assist Director of Slate Innovation and Director of Admissions as needed with special projects in Slate.

| Qualifications |
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in a technology-related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience with Slate software, preferably in higher education.
- Technical expertise in database management, data analysis, and reporting, along with a solid understanding of data security protocols.
- Effective communication and training skills, strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, collaborate with teams, and meet deadlines excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Adaptability, continuous learning, and a customer service-oriented approach are vital in a dynamic admissions environment.
- Maintaining confidentiality and implementing data security measures, advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of formula creation and pivot tables; familiarity with Google Suite.
- Slate-supported admission solutions, reporting, and forms creation.
