Job Description
ECU Department of Joyner Library Services is currently seeking several Student Technicians.

Description:
Provide technical support to students, faculty and staff at the Technology & Printing Services desk located on the first floor of Joyner Library.

Duties:

  • (Primary Duty) Assist ECU students, faculty and staff with technology-related issues.
  • These issues include, but are not limited to printing support, onboarding personal devices to the campus Wi-Fi network, assistance with basic software and hardware questions.
  • Processing and printing poster requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Hours: 15-20/week

Wage: $10.00/ hour (Undergraduate); $14.00/hour (Graduate)
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have good communication skills.
  • This position requires effective and clear communication with department staff as well as ECU students, faculty and staff who use the library.
  • Familiarity with technology, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, and basic printing knowledge.
  • Candidates must be able to maintain an organized shared work environment.
  • Candidates must be in good academic standing with East Carolina University.
