As a
Sr Advisor, Acquisitions SME with MTSI you will provide direct support to the United States Air Force B-21 System Program Director (SPD) as Senior Advisor for the acquisition.
Essential job functions will involve, but may not be limited to:
- As a Subject Matter Expert in complex DoD and/or Air Force acquisitions with former senior leadership experience, contributions to the program will span strategic planning, stakeholder and oversight engagements, acquisition oversight, major milestone preparation and readiness assessments, and related tasks
- Provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and acquisition expertise to the program leadership; personally builds supporting products for internal and external audiences as an essential contributor & producer on the program leadership team
- Proactive self-starter and planner who anticipates future program leadership requirements; provides detailed analyses, evaluations and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for mission critical challenges/issues.
Required Skills, and Experience:
- 15+ years of Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or relevant industry work experience with no less than five years total experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment.
- Experience with the defense acquisition system and Federal Acquisition Regulation / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement contracts required. Former senior leadership experience in DoD acquisitions highly desired.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Relevant Technical Discipline.
Clearance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Special Access Programs is required.
