Software Quality Assurance Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases to ensure product reliability.

* Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for maximum test coverage and efficiency.

* Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.

* Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

* Develop performance, security, and other specialized testing.

* Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements and improve product testability.

* Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

* Mentor teammates on testing methodologies and best practices.

* Provide clear reporting on project status, testing progress, and areas of improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 3-5 years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or software development.

* Proficiency with webdriver tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

* Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, Fiddler).

* Strong scripting and programming skills.

* Experience with SQL and database schema design.

* Proficiency with issue tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).

* Ability to analyze requirements and create testable specifications.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

* Familiarity with TypeScript, Python, or other object-oriented languages.

* Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.

* Experience mentoring or training team members on testing methodologies.

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

* Familiarity with Performance testing tools (k6, Locust).

* Familiarity with Security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
