What to Expect
Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start January 2026 and continue through the entire Spring term (i.e. through May 2026) or into Summer 2026 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. Tesla is leveraging its breakthrough powertrain technology and manufacturing scale to develop and deploy grid connected storage at residential, industrial, and utility scales, bringing battery technology to the grid to facilitate a renewable energy ecosystem and increase grid reliability in places where it is lacking. The role of the Global Business Development team is to work across the business to analyse and determine future markets and customer offerings. We research and review market trends, changes in customer preferences and product capabilities to determine how best to meet Tesla's mission of accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. This internship will focus on supporting data-driven market intelligence within the utility sector. The ideal candidate will work with large datasets to structure, analyze, and visualize project information. Strong data management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights are essential. What You'll Do

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
