Position Title: Global Market Intelligence Analyst, Cardiac Rhythm Management

Work Location: Austin TX, or Sylmar, CA, or Minnetonka, MN

Assignment Duration: 3 months (possible extension or conversion into FTE)

Work Schedule: 8-hour days, starting 8-9 AM; flexible based on meetings

Work Arrangement: Onsite required, but part-time onsite may be considered for strong candidates

Position Summary: The Global Market Intelligence Analyst has responsibility for conducting global sales analysis and establishing consistent sales forecast reporting globally.

Background & Context:

  • Support Global Market Intelligence in tracking and reporting our organization's share position and performance metrics that will be used in tactical and strategic business decisions for our organization's Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio.
  • Quickly develop understanding of Cardiac Rhythm Management products, procedures and market dynamics. Essential success factors for the position include attention to detail and high-level analytical skills with expertise in Excel, working under tight deadlines.
  • Role is critical for data accuracy due to visibility at leadership level.
  • Projects: Business reporting, data analytics, forecasting, competitive intelligence.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support analyses and create/maintain global models in the areas of product line trends and product mix changes.
  • Works closely with geographic partners via matrix (finance, marketing & sales) to align on sales and our organization's share at a country/regional level. Ensure units are accurately captured in global forecasts.
  • Assist in collecting and recording competitive activities collected by the group at a regular cadence.
  • Champion improvements in data quality, reporting processes, and analytics capabilities.



Qualification & Experience: Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Information Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in analyst role.
  • Proven ability to translate data to insights.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills required. Use of Excel for data manipulation and complex custom reports.
  • A collaborative team member with excellent communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.



Preferred

  • Experience in Salesforce, PowerBI for access and analysis of data.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize projects that align with corporate priorities.
  • Excellent planning, organization and communication skills.
  • Medical Device experience.
