| Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |

| Position Summary |
The Program Manager will provide continuity of support for a federally funded research education grant focused on building capacity for measuring and addressing intimate partner violence (
IPV) in maternal health research. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the project, including coordination of webinar series and training activities, participant communications, evaluation data collection, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating logistics for online trainings and evaluation activities.
- Managing communication with participants, faculty, and collaborators.
- Maintaining project documentation, including participant tracking and evaluation records.
- Assisting with preparation of progress reports, dissemination materials, and other grant deliverables.
- Supporting the Principal Investigator in ongoing program implementation and planning activities.

| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Master's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned; or Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and two years of research/analysis, preferably with one year in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
| Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
- Master's degree in nursing, public health, or a related field and prior experience with program management, research coordination, or project administration in an academic or research setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Bridging Research Gaps: Building Capacity for Measuring and Addressing Intimate Partner Violence in Maternal Health Research (R25) program, including its goals, structure, and training components.
- Experience coordinating multi-session online trainings and participant communications using Zoom and Qualtrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams), Qualtrics, WordPress, and other UNC systems (e.g., UNC event registration).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

| Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
- Direct experience supporting research education programs or federally funded training grants.
- Familiarity with UNC School of Nursing administrative processes, including purchasing, reimbursements, and HR procedures.
- Experience developing and managing evaluation databases and producing summary reports.
- Prior involvement in violence prevention, maternal health, or nursing research.
