Systems Engineer

• Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements aligned with mission and security objectives.
• Design, integrate, and validate hardware and software components.
• Maintain system architecture documentation, interface control documents, and engineering drawings.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and configuration control boards.
• Support system verification and validation (V&V) via test plans and execution.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with NIST/RMF standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot system issues.
• Provide lifecycle support: installation, deployment, maintenance, and sustainment.
• Develop scripts and automation tools (PowerShell, Python) to improve system efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics with 5 years of experience.

• Experience with IBM DOORS, Simulink, requirements decomposition, test procedure development, PowerShell, Cisco networking, Linux/Windows administration, virtualization, and cybersecurity tool implementation.
• Agile experience; database administration (Mongo).
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and system modeling tools.
• Creative, collaborative team player able to handle increasing responsibilities.
