Lead Production Associate Second Shift

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Shift:1:30pm - 12:00am, Tuesday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

The Lead Production Associate position is a professional in charge of guiding, monitoring, and leading a team. They are responsible for motivating their team and inspiring positive communication within the team to work togethertoward achieving goals.

• Guide and oversee the production team machinery, managing production lines, processing materials, packaging products, and organizing inventory.
• Maintain rigorous compliance with safety protocols and uphold the highest quality standards
• Oversee quality control by managing policies, processes, and procedures and address any issues withpurchased materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
• Inspire and lead employees to enhance productivity and achieve set production targets
• Cultivate a collaborative team atmosphere; promote open dialogue and teamwork.
• Establish and communicate clear team objectives; ensure goals are understood and pursued by the team
• Partner with supervisor to ensure assigned tasks are completed
• Collaborate with production supervisor to manage daily operations; track team performance, report on keymetrics, and resolve problems swiftly
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to confirm that all equipment is operational and meetsperformance standards
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment
• To perform satisfactorily in this position, the employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
