The Content Strategist develops clear, accurate and engaging education and enablement content for Pinterest's global educational site. You'll edit, write and publish web pages, social posts and more, partnering with design and teams across product and engineering to support new and ongoing digital and cross-channel programs and campaigns to help inform and inspire people about creating content on Pinterest.

What you'll do:



  • Scope and write new content pages, blog posts and educational material, balancing product, brand and SEO requirements.
  • Pitch, develop and craft content that educates and engages our audience.
  • Use analytics and insights to understand what's performing and apply your learnings to help guide future content.
  • Build, QA and publish content with our CMS and help with training and documentation.
  • Collaborate with international teams on contentrelated deliverables.
  • Update and optimize evergreen content.
  • Support international content teams with site content updates and troubleshooting.



What we're looking for:



  • 4-6 years of digital education, content strategy/writing experience, or editorial, including social.
  • Detail-oriented writer with experience writing across different brand voices. You're able to quickly pick up a brand's voice and understand the way the tone and voice are expressed across the brand.
  • Excel at both short-form and long-form copy-experience with educational content is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy under changing inputs; thrive in ambiguity and fastmoving, crossfunctional environments while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Skilled with CMS, SEO and web analytics.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, creative and curious, with a pulse on current culture and content trends.
  • Experience in journalism or editorial is ideal.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as communications, journalism or English, or equivalent experience.

InOffice Requirement Statement:



  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for inperson collaboration 1-2 times per quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the United States.
