What this job involves:

As a Senior Project Manager (QA/QC), you will play a crucial role in this pursuit by leading large complex projects and delivering exceptional results for our clients. Your innovative approach, collaborative mindset, and commitment to success will help us further strengthen our culture of collaboration and advancement.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Delivering exceptional project management services

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of projects, including planning, quality, commissioning, scheduling, and execution

  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success

  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

  • Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering them to thrive and excel

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their goals and objectives

  • Championing JLL's values and culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and belonging

  • Accepts complete accountability for owner's quality & commissioning program execution and standards.

  • Primary point-of-contact on all matters related to construction quality & commissioning activities.

  • Ensure project team is proactive & looks ahead beyond daily tasks.

  • Ensure process and procedures are in place and being carried out effectively to validate proper installation of materials.

  • Engage with Owner/Architect/Engineers/Project Team to continuously understand project goals and track the strategies to meet and exceed them.

  • Oversee and manage project dashboards to report quality metrics to entire project team; internally & externally.

  • Understand all aspects of contract documents.

  • Ensure the project schedule tracks appropriate milestones and activities in support of the quality & commissioning requirements of the project and assist in schedule updates and adjustments based on the ongoing quality & commissioning support effort.

  • Oversee and manage the MEP/CSLA inspection process and procedures for the project team.

  • Ensure appropriate management and documentation of issues mitigates possible company risk.

  • Interfacing weekly coordinated quality & commissioning meetings with project team.

  • When necessary, oversee and manage a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on significant project events, critical/high deficiencies or repetitive issues with the project team.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the Mission Critical / Hyperscale Data Center Market

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large complex projects from inception to completion

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Deep understanding of commissioning levels (level 1 through 5) and how it affects the overall project schedule.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading projects in multiple sectors, including office, heavy industrial, mission critical and healthcare

  • Demonstrated experience in change management and driving innovation

  • Knowledge of construction processes and building codes

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (including Smartsheets, P6 and Cx Alloy)
