Your Job

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join our Consumer Products IT team, supporting the Custom Sales Application portfolio. This team builds and maintains tools that empower our internal and external sales organizations to operate more efficiently and focus on value creation. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting scalable applications that drive business outcomes.

Our Team

This role operates within the Consumer Products business segment and will collaborate and interact with the broader IT organization to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with the Georgia-Pacific's strategic vision.

Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our GP Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. It requires 3 days in office per week.

This role is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship or transfer. If you currently hold any VISA (i.e. H1B, H4, OPT Stem) regardless of authorization to work in US, this role is not open to supporting VISAs.


What You Will Do

* Design, develop, test, and document software solutions and enhancements

* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency and precision

* Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

* Collaborate with business SMEs to deliver impactful solutions

* Conduct root cause analysis and recommend alternative solutions

* Mentor junior developers on technical best practices

* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning

* Ensure security and compliance in cloud infrastructure and data handling

* Create and maintain solution documentation including process designs and job aids

* Communicate effectively across technical and business teams

* Work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Prior software development experience

* Experience in mobile development and user experience design

* Experience working in SQL databases and data modeling

* Hands-on experience with API development and consumption

* Exposure to integration concepts: EAI, ETL, ESB, SOA, publish/subscribe

* Experience in web development languages: JavaScript, .NET, HTML, VB, C#, SQL

* Experience working in AWS environments

* Experience with CI/CD lifecycle and tools

* Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

* Experience with Azure DevOps

* Experience with React frameworks

* Experience deploying mobile apps to Google Play and Apple App Store

* Experience with test automation frameworks

* Previous experience in Microsoft Office, Active Directory, SCCM, and OS platforms
