As a Security Officer - Tech Site - Full Time in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a leading technology environment to help maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and interact professionally with employees and visitors. You will play an important role in access control and contribute to a positive experience for all on site, reflecting our values of reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns within the technology, media, and telecom environment.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and support security-related policies and procedures.
• Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency response personnel when required during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
