Join Our Anderson Team as an Assistant Human Resources Manager

In this role, you'll be a key partner in supporting the HR function at our Anderson Factory, ensuring every initiative aligns with Nestle's core values and operational objectives. Your focus will include strengthening employee relations, leading investigations, and cultivating a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Our Anderson, Indiana facility is a flagship, state-of-the-art factory and distribution center built with sustainability at its core. From advanced energy recovery systems and environmental controls to recyclable, food-safe packaging, we're committed to Nestle's ambition of achieving zero environmental impact by 2030. Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related issues, providing guidance and support on workplace concerns.
  • Investigations:Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring compliance with Nestle's policies and legal requirements.
  • Policy Implementation:Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Training and Development:Collaborate with the HR Senior Manager to identify training needs and support employee development initiatives.
  • Performance Management:Support the performance appraisal process, providing coaching and feedback to managers and employees.
  • Compliance:Ensure adherence to labor laws and Nestle's internal compliance standards in all HR practices.
  • Reporting:Prepare and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
