Western Union is seeking a detail-oriented, execution-focused Manager to join our Global Know Your Customer (GKYC) team. In this role, you will support the Head of Global KYC in driving oversight procedures and enhancing program effectiveness. You will leverage your deep expertise in financial crime and compliance investigations to guide KYC Operations, lead process improvements, and maintain global policies. You will also collaborate across regions, build strong stakeholder relationships, and solve complex problems related to the application and enforcement of KYC requirements around the globe.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that supports enterprise and compliance products from conception to implementation and beyond. This involves working cross-functionally to understand our various global compliance needs, business product needs, and regulatory obligations to formulate requirements and ensure consistent execution of the Global KYC Program across regions.

Role Responsibilities



  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Head of Global KYC, supporting the design and implementation of the Global KYC Oversight and Management Procedure.
  • Apply expertise in Compliance, financial crime typologies, and investigative best-practices to help guide and oversee cases handled by KYC Operations.
  • Contribute to the drafting, review, and ongoing maintenance of Global KYC policies, procedures, desk references, and related documentation.
  • Lead the development and execution of process enhancements that improve compliance effectiveness, operational efficiency, and program scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across global regions to ensure consistent alignment and execution of the Global KYC Program.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with regional and global stakeholders, facilitating clear and consistent communication with senior leadership.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of direct reports, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives and projects that advance the Global KYC Program's objectives.


Role Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years in AML compliance or a comparable field required.
  • 1+ years of people management experience leading and empowering highly functioning compliance teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment required.
  • Experience working with complex systems across multiple stakeholder groups and domains.
  • Experience conducting research, gathering feedback, and translating insights into concise summaries of Compliance findings and/or requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, especially in a cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite tools, including MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Visio is a plus.
  • Must possess well developed interpersonal skills and be able to function well within a team-oriented environment.

Salary

The base salary range is $95,400.00 - 127,200.00 USD Annual USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus annual incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
