The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking for a qualified full-time Audiologist to join the team. The Audiologist will identify and evaluate patients with impaired hearing and balance, and provide appropriate habilitation/rehabilitation. Provides educational programs for families. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care. Assists in the maintenance of and management of equipment and supplies for day to day operations. Provides age-appropriate care for a specific population including: newborns, children, adolescents and adults.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Clinical Doctorate of Audiology
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • NJ Hearing Aid License to be completed within 2 years of hire

Preferred:

  • Pediatric experience and Outpatient physician office experience is a plus

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ Audiology License or Temporary License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association or approved plan for Clinical Fellowship
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Day Shift, 40 hours/week
  • Full-time Schedule

Essential Functions:

  • The audiologist should be licensed experienced in pediatrics.
  • The individual will work with ENT conducting complete audiologist evaluations, VRA, OAE, VRA, tympanometry.
  • Proficiency in billing and coding in compliance with medical standards.
  • Experienced in providing education and instruction to families.
