Precise Systems is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer with Circuit Card design experience to join our dynamic team in Arizona. The initial contract duration is set for six months with potential for extension or conversion to permanent status based on performance and business needs. This mid-career position requires no travel, allowing you to maintain a stable work location at our client site in Arizona. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience: Duties:
- You will be responsible for supporting our client operations in Arizona, working on technical projects that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain engineering solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
- This role involve tasks such as schematic capture, physical layout, component selection, simulation, and testing.
- In this role, you will apply engineering principles to analyze, design, and develop systems or components according to requirements.
- You will be expected to conduct tests, collect data, and document results to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
- The position involves working with CAD software to create technical drawings and models, as well as participating in design reviews and providing technical input to improve existing processes.
- You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, implementing corrective actions, and providing regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- The ability to interpret technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements is essential for success in this position.
- You will have opportunities to mentor junior team members, contribute to knowledge sharing, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- You will be expected to stay current with industry trends and technological advancements relevant to your field of expertise.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
- Professional engineering certification or license preferred but not required
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Circuit Card Design experience
- Demonstrated experience in design, development, or maintenance of engineering systems
- Experience with testing methodologies and quality control processes
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience working in a client-facing environment
- Previous experience with engineering software applications
- Experience preparing and presenting technical reports

- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices relevant to the industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
