Overview We are seeking a Primary Care Certified Medical Assistant, also referred to as an Outpatient Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA), Family Medicine Medical Assistant Medicine or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Our Primary Care CMA supports providers by preparing patients for exams, performing clinical tasks like taking vitals, administering injections, and documenting in the EMR. They also help with patient education, care coordination, and front office duties to ensure efficient and high-quality care. ** You must be a Certified Medical Assistant from the National Healthcare Association or other nationally recognized organization to move forward in this position.** Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
2. Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Diploma.
3. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
