STS Technical Services is hiring an Aircraft Parts Lab Technician in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role supports aerospace manufacturing by performing chemical analysis, quality testing, and process control to ensure compliance with strict NADCAP and ISO 17025 standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical chemistry tests and measurements, including accurate titration and volumetric analysis.
  • Ensure process tank compositions and concentrations meet required specification limits.
  • Maintain compliance with NADCAP quality testing standards and prepare detailed testing records.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve test discrepancies and drive improvements.
  • Perform audits and assist in preparation for customer and regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and compliant state.
  • Identify trends from test data and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on testing results, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial laboratory certified to ISO 17025 standards.
  • Background in metal surface finishing, electroplating, anodizing, or conversion coating preferred.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety and handling of hazardous chemicals.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
