As an All-Source Intelligence Analyst with MTSI, you will provide in-depth analysis and technical intelligence to support multiple mission engineering studies by addressing data needs for descriptive (Model-Based Systems Engineering) and constructive (AFSIM, iTASE, NGTS, etc.) modeling. This role will be responsible for processing complex datasets, identifying patterns, anticipating developments, and generating inputs to enable analytic models and system engineering processes through innovative approaches that inform the nation's most critical research and engineering decisions. This position will be located in Alexandria, VA.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Data Integration and Analysis for MBSE / M&S
  • Review data from multiple all-source intelligence sources and fuse it into actionable and timely technical outputs suitable for Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) applications
  • Perform research and analysis of all-domain intelligence to extract, refine, and structure data critical for populating MBSE architectures and M&S scenarios.
  • Leverage specialized intelligence tools (MIDB, MARS) and apply experience in advanced analytics and data integration methodologies to support analysis and model creation.
Operational Support and Coordination
  • Coordination & Collaboration with Services, Joint Staff, Service Warfare Development Centers, Service Intelligence Centers, and National Intelligence Agencies to support future operations related to technology and systems development.
  • Collaborate within the team to aid in object-based intelligence and technical analysis to enable the team to develop Concepts of Operation/Employment (CONOP / CONEMP) and metrics to measure mission success, operational effectiveness, and system performance, enabling the team's understanding of operational activities and system implications.
  • Maintain situational awareness of R&E mission areas of interest to provide timely and accurate updates and briefings to OUSD R&E leadership.
  • Collaborate within the team to develop Concepts of Operations/Employment (CONOP/CONEMPs) and metrics to measure mission success.
Documentation and Repository Management
*Data Curation: Maintain and update repositories for information specific to platforms, weapons, communications, networks, sub-systems, and software, utilizing the most current available intelligence information.
*Tool Utilization: Leverage specialized intelligence tools (MIDB, MARS) and apply experience in advanced analytics and data integration methodologies to support analysis and model creation.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in intelligence analysis, with a specific focus on data extraction, object-based intelligence, advanced analytics, concept development, or systems integration in a defense or military field.
  • 2 years of experience interacting with the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Military Services, or Intelligence Community.
  • This position will require a strong ability and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Candidates must possess and demonstrate proven communication skills - written and verbal
  • Must be a motivated self-starter who can work both independently and in a collaborative team environment, often with minimal guidance and within rigid timelines
  • Must have outstanding communication skills in conveying complex technical issues and in providing comprehensive written, oral, and/or digital products
  • Must also have outstanding technical writing and presentation development skills
Desired Skills:
*Previous experience in a Service Intelligence Center, Combatant Command or Joint Staff
*Previous experience in a J2 or J3
Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's: Operations Research or Engineering; OR possess a Certificate from advanced Professional Military Education relevant to Military Training and/or Military Planning
Clearance Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
