Overview

Job Purpose

The Manager, HR Operations, Internal Mobility, is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs that facilitate the movement of employees to new roles, projects, and career opportunities within the company. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of talent management, human resources, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive global internal mobility programs that align with the organization's business needs and talent strategy, covering both inter-country and intra-country movements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding internal mobility policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with talent acquisition, human resources business partners (HRBPs), HR compensation, and internal immigration team to coordinate the internal transfer process
  • Develop and implement global process for managing internal immigration cases for employee transfers
  • Design and deliver training for managers and on how to conduct career development conversations with their employees, supporting internal movement within their teams
  • Develop comprehensive resources for employees and managers to streamline the logistical aspects of location transfers
  • Provide personalized coaching to employees navigating the internal transfer process
  • Define and monitor key metrics, such as internal fill rates and retention rates for internal movers, to provide data-driven insights to leadership
  • Establish and communicate transparent policies and clear eligibility criteria for internal moves to ensure fairness and equity in the process
  • Manage global recognition program, covering strategic oversight, program development, administration, communication, and analytics

Knowledge and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources or internal mobility within a corporate environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels
  • Preferably have experience with HR technology (HRIS or ATS systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions and measure program impact
  • Ability to connect internal mobility programs with broader organizational goals
  • Ability to navigate and drive cultural change within the organization to promote talent sharing and internal growth
  • Experience advising both employees and managers on complex career development topics
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in data analysis to track and report on program effectiveness
