The Department of Physics at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in cosmology. The successful candidate will work with Professor Colin Bischoff on measurements of the Cosmic Microwave Background with the BICEP telescopes and South Pole Observatory. Research activities include instrumentation, support of ongoing observations, and data analysis. The postdoctoral fellow will be supported and encouraged to develop new projects and will have opportunities, if interested, to mentor graduate and undergraduate students. This position offers a competitive salary with health benefits. It also includes funds for professional travel, publications, and computing. The initial appointment will be for one year but could be extended by two additional years contingent on performance and availability of funding.
