Work Schedule Description (e.g. M-F 8am to 5pm) M-F 8am to 6pm Overview Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Pharmacist, Clinical Operations to join our team! The Pharmacist, Clinical Operations will be responsible for performing telephonic consultations with patients regarding the use of their specialty medication and management of their disease state. They will perform medication reconciliation, screen for potential drug interactions, and provide side effect management recommendations. Another main duty of this role will include a high volume of product verification to ensure accuracy of orders prior to shipment. The Pharmacist, Clinical Operations can expect to interpret prescribers' prescriptions, contact prescribers and/or patients to verify information on prescriptions, and expedite the processing of orders. The individual in this position will be expected to meet department production metrics and service levels, support quality standards, resolve patient issues, and vary work priorities and activities to accommodate business needs. The Pharmacist, Clinical Operations works independently with minimal guidance and represents the organization in using patient-centered care to enhance the patient experience. Is this you? Verify prescriptions for pharmaceutical preparations and devices for patients at company facilities; maintain accurate and detailed records of all prescription transactions, and submit appropriate claims for third-party reimbursement; consult with physicians and nurses regarding pharmaceutical questions; advise physicians on formulary medications and cost-effective and innovative therapies; answer pharmaceutical questions from patients and staff; monitor storage, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals.
