What You'll Do
- Grow Your Territory: Spend 80-90% of your time making sales calls; develop new buying accounts and build loyalty through existing account satisfaction; target competitive accounts to grow your customer base across the Detroit metro.
- Drive Results: Achieve sales and margin goals across all AirTech equipment offerings; budget and maintain market share targets; deliver consistent results through the COMMIT process and a clearly defined sales approach.
- Build Solutions & Pipeline: Coordinate with regional resources to design customer-centric system solutions; master product knowledge, system design, and prospecting; maintain a highly predictable pipeline.
- Maintain Accountability: Keep cleanly organized activity, opportunity tracking, and customer interaction details in CRM; maintain excellent communication with associates and customers; recognize problem areas and take corrective action proactively.
What You'll Need
- Experience & Aptitude: Proven success in industrial sales; air compressor industry experience a strong plus; strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Proven Performance: A demonstrated track record of year-over-year sales growth and new account acquisition
- Core Competencies: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time management skills; disciplined daily and weekly activity management
- Tools & Mobility: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms; valid driver's license
