The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.

Coordinates and supports the administrative and compliance functions of the Director/Associate Director and other team members in the department, providing complex administrative support, data entry, compliance tracking, and assessment. Works closely with staff from various teams including: Safety, Peer Support, Case Management, Intake/Discharge, Reintegration, Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, IT and other providers on site. Must be comfortable working on a recovery oriented campus and engaging stakeholders of all kinds.
Additional Requirement
    • Valid driver's license required. This requirement may be waived, if necessary, based on overall candidate experience and current needs of the business.

Essential Job Functions
    • Provides excellent internal and external customer service, demonstrating a high degree of emotional intelligence, valuing diversity and inclusiveness, and fostering an atmosphere of teamwork with colleagues, clients, and partners.
    • Gathers, enters, and tracks data to distribute compiled reports and presentations for various grant sources, research organizations, and/or internal departments or program needs.
    • Maintains competency in and access to HMIS, EHR, and/or other platforms and databases required for grant and organizational purposes.
    • Performs clerical tasks, which can include creating, organizing, and maintaining documents for program files, as well as, scanning, faxing, sending, and receiving internal/external correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
    • Tracks, reconciles, and submits expenses and reimbursements related to the department, timely to CCH Accounting Department.
    • Maintains operation and function of office equipment, vehicles, and/or other maintenance requests and inspections.
    • Creates and edits correspondence and other program-related materials; Tracks, processes documents for approval, and distributes to parties concerned.
    • Supports the scheduling of meetings and/or events for the department which could include meetings invites, room reservations, setup/cleanup, preparation for guest speakers, taking and disseminating meeting minutes in a timely manner, and preparing agendas and other materials. Purchases/orders all needed materials, supplies, and services for the department, and maintains organized, clean, and welcoming communal areas.
Qualifications Summary
    • Sound critical thinking and decision-making skills.
    • Consistently superb customer service skills; excellent interpersonal/assertive communications skills demonstrating a high degree of emotional intelligence.
    • Experience working with people who are experiencing homelessness or who have come from homelessness preferred.
    • Reliable transportation required. Valid CO Driver's License Required.
    • Must be able to pass criminal background and automobile insurance carrier's Motor Vehicle Record background investigations.
    • Education and Work Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • At least 2 years of prior experience performing administrative duties preferred.
$20.64 - $25.14 an hour
