As a Security Guard - Government Unarmed Patrol in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the site. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and offer outstanding customer service and communication to all staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as required.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
