As a Security Officer - Unarmed Mall Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a dynamic retail location. You will interact with guests and staff, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to observe activities and help to deter unwanted behaviors or incidents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the retail environment to maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Document security-related events and incidents, completing accurate and timely reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with client staff and local law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.
• Remain alert to surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
