As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Specialist in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic logistics and distribution environment, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and team members, playing a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor access, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Greet visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a professional manner at the front desk of the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and manage access control procedures for individuals entering or leaving the facility.
• Assist with visitor check-in and check-out processes, maintaining accurate records as required by site-specific policies.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, or access control panels to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed during security-related situations.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering assistance in accordance with company and location policies.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, visitor logs, and other front desk activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
