Job Description




As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment, including participation in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support to staff, visitors, and/or patients.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe, report, and document any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized individuals on site.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients with directions and general information, contributing to a welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs specific to the location.
  • Operate communication devices professionally to coordinate with colleagues and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
