Job Summary: As a Senior Operations Leader you will manage and lead the daily operations of the Billerica plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line with focus on HSE and Compliance as non-negotiables. Participates and drives strategy and is in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions. Develops the year plan for the plant operations manufacturing function on the basis of the framework for the strategic plan for the whole plant. Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities o Manage plant operations and the production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. o Responsible for key operations KPIs such as HSE, Compliance, revenue, OTD, utilization, indirect cost control, COPQ management and facility management. o Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards with focus on lean management deployment across plant operations. Lean 5S and kaizen events to be driven as part of the plant lean culture. o Conduct frequent interactions on manager level with key functions such as Engineering technology, commercial, plant maintenance, planning and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment. o Leads the development of plant operations employees including people management, personal development and career growth plans. o Handles complex manufacturing processes delivery and decision making and leads customer delivery for base order backlog and services. o Be the plant leadership contact for customer visits, site audits and channel partners. o Lead plant strategy to deliver per operations priorities with focus on continued fulfilment improvement. o Lead and be responsible for sales to CM finance management for the Billerica plant. Required Qualifications o Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Operation Management. Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
