PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES.



  • Be a trusted counselor and thought leader for clients.
  • Own responsibilities for leadership of multiple clients and client programs, budgets, and teams.
  • Build, nurture and expand client relationships, growing organic revenue as a result.
  • Lead the development of brand communications programs for key accounts, facilitating cross-functional integration and collaboration with strategy, creative, and integrated media teams to ensure ideas are earned at the core, data-driven, break-through, and culturally relevant.
  • Translate strategies into tactical plans; ensure deliverables align with strategies and measurable goals.
  • Proactively support and suggest improvements and new ideas to exceed client expectations by leveraging industry knowledge and experience.
  • Be an early adopter of new media trends, platforms, and practices, democratizing learnings and helping to raise the acumen of our organization and clients.
  • Understand what's happening in culture and what's top of mind among varied audiences, including Gen-Z and millennials, to identify and shape client opportunities.
  • Actively participate in agency business development and lead select new business
  • Demonstrate financial acumen in the areas of budgeting, billing, and staffing.
  • Manage ongoing team resourcing/staffing to ensure successful delivery of work product.
  • Contribute to the career growth of junior team members, serving as manager, mentor, and role model.


QUALIFICATIONS.



  • 12+ years of relevant brand marketing experience, ideally within the consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, consumer health and wellness, and over-the-counter healthcare categories.
  • Experienced in overseeing a portfolio of brands.
  • Experienced integrated marketer working across teams and disciplines - strategy, planning, analytics, creative, content development, earned media, influencer marketing, organic social, and paid media - in a communications agency environment.
  • Understands how to blend earned, influencer, owned, and paid strategies to accelerate ideas across our connected media world.
  • Depth in stakeholder mapping and building programs to reach them in engaging ways.
  • Significant experience providing thought leadership and counsel to senior management.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams; mentoring team members.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.

NYC Salary range: $160,000 - $225,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
