What to Expect
The Infrastructure Operation Controls and Analytics team designs data solutions to optimize pipeline architecture and develop systems for data collection and visualization. In this role, you will serve as both a Data Engineer and Data Analyst, empowering Construction stakeholders with actionable insights for prioritization, cost savings, and early risk detection. You will ensure our data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems are maintained and developed to the highest standards of robustness, flexibility, scalability, and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Interpret complex business logic and implement simple, elegant solutions while adhering to project timelines
- Extract actionable insights and identify trends to support stakeholders in driving cost-saving improvements on CAPEX and OPEX data
- Maintain, optimize, and develop ETL pipelines in SQL, Airflow and Python
- Create visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and in-house dashboard platforms
- Continually expand the scope of your data engineering and analysis skill set
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enable cost savings and optimize Tesla's products and processes
- Strong communicational skills, organizational skills, presentation skills, and flexibility to address competing demands
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, DAX, or similar
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar
- Proficiency in tools such as SSMS, Airflow, Microsoft Azure, and SQL Server
- In-depth knowledge of RDBMS development, Data Warehousing, and Data Modeling techniques
- Demonstrated success in applying statistical methods to data analysis, particularly regarding budget forecasting
- A successful history of integrating source systems and delivering self-serve Business Intelligence

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
