The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc ("nVent") and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. What you will experience in this position: At nVent Management Company, you will find an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills as an Electrician and contribute to our world-class manufacturing team! In this role, you will have the chance to work on ambitious projects, ensuring our products are flawless and meet the highest quality standards. You will: Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays to adhere to NEC code and customer specifications. Perform simple utility wire connections and understand electrical circuits. Read blueprints and perform conduit threading. Maintain and ensure tools are in good working condition. Train and mentor employees on your shift. Keep work areas clean and coordinated to ensure a safe environment. Prevent workplace injuries by following safety protocols and attending safety meetings. You have: High school diploma or GED preferred. Vocational/technical degree in electricity or equivalent experience. 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience. Master or Journeyman Electrician License preferred. Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). Experience with commercial and industrial equipment, MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives.
