We have an opportunity for a Technical Services Specialist to join our Golden Valley, MN team. You will be delivering technical expertise, training, and support for our cutting-edge water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator and problem-solver who thrives in both residential and commercial food service environments.

You will:

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead technical training sessions for water treatment professionals.
  • Develop and deliver curriculum on Pentair's advanced water systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert during workshops, webinars, and field demonstrations.
  • Act as the primary contact for diagnosing and resolving issues with installed systems.
  • Provide hands-on and remote support for residential and commercial food service applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with installers, service technicians, and channel partners.
  • Offer consultative guidance on system configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Maintain detailed records of service interactions and feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required (<10-15%).

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Master Plumber certification in the state of Minnesota.
  • 5+ years of experience in plumbing, water treatment, or technical services.
  • Strong understanding of water filtration technologies and system design.
  • Experience in training or instructional design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical hardware and circuitry.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
