Job Description: The Superintendent plays a pivotal role in supervising and directing CIPP crews at designated job sites. Their foremost responsibility is to ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, budgetary constraints, and project schedules, all while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. This role operates under the daily guidance of the General Superintendent, benefiting from ongoing support and mentorship. A Day in the Life
Plan and implement daily goals for job sites, conducting inspections and devising action plans for each crew. Ensure site Foremen execute the daily plan and allocate duties according to standard operating procedures. Train and develop employees for proficiency in job duties, maintaining a positive and safe work environment. Manage daily equipment and material usage, reporting issues promptly to management. Inspect and approve completed work, overseeing proper care of inventory and materials at job sites. Communicate daily with the General Superintendent regarding job-specific needs. Maintain a safe working environment, addressing workplace hazards promptly. Gather and submit various reports, including safety management, employee training, and equipment and inventory management. Ensure employees have up-to-date safety information, conducting daily hazard awareness meetings and toolbox talks. Conduct daily record-keeping, including logs, schedules, and timecards. Manage field personnel equitably, addressing performance issues promptly. Provide timely documentation for safety issues, equipment damage, and workplace injuries, accordingto Veit National policies and procedures. Ensure all work adheres to specified quality standards. Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community. Participate in regular training for construction methods and safety, supporting training opportunities for staff. Handle other projects or duties as assigned by Management.
What You'll Need
Five years' field experience working on CIPP projects; plus 2 years' experience in a crew lead role. Abilityto read, analyze and interpret policies, reports, plans, specifications, and legal documents. Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel spreadsheets, iPad and iPhone. Ability to communicate and schedule project needs appropriately. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels ofmanagement and employees, external vendors and other business associates. Speaks effectively before groups as well as individuals. Must havegood interpersonal skills. Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such asfractions, percentages ratios, and proportions to practical field quantity situations. Abilityto define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions inmathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concretevariables. Must possess the ability to satisfactorily perform each essential duty and responsibility. CDL A or B. CPR & First Aid Certification. Site Crew(s) (5-6 CIPP technicians and equipment technicians).

Valid unrestricted Driver's License and ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must be at least 18 years of age. Position requires 8 to 12-hour workdays and occasional weekends, as needed. Must be flexible regarding work hours. Shift normally starts at 6:30am and goes until the work is done for the day. May be required to work nights at times. Position requires 75-100% travel within the State of Florida and southeast U.S. (Hotels and per diem provided.)

The compensation of this position would be union scale based. The base salary range may vary depending on geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
