Are you ready to make a significant impact in a collaborative environment? Our Business Markets team in Product Line Management is seeking an innovative Product Analyst eager to develop and support strategic plans that drive product growth. As a Product Analyst, you will help define the vision and strategy that strengthen our competitive position in the marketplace.

Day in the Life - As a key contributor, you will drive product success and innovation by:

  • Collaborating closely with Underwriting teams to shape and update underwriting philosophy, providing expert review and authority on complex or large-scale risks.
  • Driving product evolution across the entire lifecycle, from concept to sunset.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor, offering consultative guidance that influences product development and key decisions, supporting profitable growth through ongoing maintenance and modernization.
  • Championing the end-to-end customer experience by researching, developing, and executing strategies that enhance engagement across legacy and modern platforms.
  • Providing comprehensive, tailored solutions addressing the unique needs of our products.
  • Leads research including identification of external trends, cost analysis, and/or statistical analysis on companywide business results to assist with the development and execution of product line vision and strategies.
  • Acts as a liaison/coordinator across multiple business areas or contacts outside of State Farm.


Qualifications
  • Proven experience in P&C insurance products, preferably within Business Lines Property & Casualty markets, including agency, marketing, claims, underwriting, or pricing.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the agent's role in delivering insurance solutions, enabling you to effectively champion products and support customer needs.
  • Broad knowledge of industry trends, company issues, competitive environment, and business needs to lead and complete assignments successfully.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, creativity, and innovation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Understanding of underwriting principles, regulatory compliance, and legislative impacts on insurance products.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across underwriting, agency, marketing, compliance, training, and technology teams.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment while adapting to shifting priorities.
  • A curious business mindset with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, financial/statistical data, and analytical software to analyze trends, costs, and create visualizations that inform product-specific decision-making.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, communicate effectively, and handle confidential information with discretion.


Our Benefits

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!

  • Potential starting salary range: $78,081 - $121,000
    • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
    • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salary
