| Position Highlights |
The University of Arizona, Yuma County Cooperative Extension is looking for two part-time Outreach Instructional Assistant III. The ideal candidates for these positions will carry out the duties required of teaching youth hands-on, experiential learning, specifically in the area of agriculture, in a school enrichment program. The primary focus of the position is to work with county wide schools, stakeholders and other collaborators to effectively build a strong Agriculture in the Classroom based program in Yuma County.

| Duties & Responsibilities |
- Organizes, promotes, coordinates and conducts Agriculture in the Classroom youth program.
- Maintains a viable program that includes recruitment, training and recognition of schools, teachers and students.
- Prepares curriculum, classroom activities and other material.
- Reviews and evaluates effectiveness of teaching methods and work activities.
- Prepares periodic reports on program activities, progress, status or other reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Ability to obtain a Driver's License.
- Ability to travel statewide using all modes of transportation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Obtain a driver's license, provide their own transportation, be able to travel statewide using all modes of transportation and have the ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
