Supervisor Dispatch Communications NE

Job Summary:

The Communications Education Supervisor oversees the entirety of the training program within the Communications Center to include onboarding, performance management and all training activities for New Hires, Call Takers, and Dispatchers. The Education Supervisor serves as a role model and mentor to Call Takers and Dispatchers within the local operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

- Accountable for the Communications Training Program. This includes but is not limited to

- Monitoring and directing the CTO program within the Communications Center.

- Providing input to the selection process for New Hires and CTOs.

- CTO and New Hire performance evaluations.

- Tracking and monitoring CTO performance metrics for performance and quality.

  • Make recommendations to leadership regarding educational needs observed during training and the QA/QI review process.
  • Support and uphold all policies, procedures, and protocols associated with the operations of the Communications Center and AMR as a whole.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ensures team members adhere to operational compliance requirements
  • Establish and ensure the AMR organization adheres to prescribed standards of quality assurance and performance improvement.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the mission and values of AMR.

-Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Twelve (12) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers, i.e. call center, retail.
  • At least twelve (12) months of experience directing the work of others, preferably providing guidance on call handling and service / dispatch processes; coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more team members in a call center, service, or retail environment.

Education:

* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekend, and / or holidays.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing a wide range of business and professional relationships.
  • Coordinates consistent operations and leadership between all leadership team members.
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and perform all dispatch and call taking functions at a high level
  • Must have strong organizational skills with experience in managing multiple priorities, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Fluency with MS Office suite and internet based GMR software platforms. Credentials/Licenses:
  • CPR certification required
  • Certification as an IAED EMD/EFD preferred
