You will be responsible for day-to-day operations for the technologies you support, working as part of a larger global team, continuously improving our global enterprise. About the Role In this opportunity as aLead Data Center Technician,you will:
- Lead, coordinate and carry out the activities of data center technicians, ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks.
- Oversee and conduct installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, and other infrastructure hardware.
- Ensure adherence to cabling standards, equipment labeling, and documentation protocols.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalations, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, systems, facilities) to support deployments and upgrades.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and spare parts; manage asset tracking and lifecycle documentation.
- Enforce physical security policies and access controls within the data center.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
- Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians and new team members.
About You You're a fit for the role ofLead Data Center Technician if your background includes:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
- Expert level knowledge of server hardware, networking equipment, and structured cabling.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience in managing audits and compliance (SOC, ISO, HIPAA, etc.).
- Strong knowledge with monitoring tools, DCIM platforms, and ticketing systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $99,400 - $184,600.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
