We are seeking a forward-thinking and highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join the USON Pharmacy & Clinical Programs team. This fully remote role is pivotal in driving complex, cross-functional projects that advance our healthcare and pharmacy data initiatives to integrate clinical and operational data and drive oncology practice performance.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with product managers and product owners from various technology teams, serving as the primary liaison for the customer stakeholder organization. Candidates with experience in product management or product ownership, especially those who have partnered with technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions, will find this experience highly valuable in the role.

Success in this position requires initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit. The Senior Project Manager will operate with significant autonomy, proactively identifying and solving business-impacting problems, and recommending solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and enterprise strategies.

  • Understand how key pharmacy data is consumed, transformed, and visualized across the enterprise to ensure delivery of consistent insights. Identify risks and opportunities, champion changes that mitigate risks through evidence-based proposals, and lead projects that implement mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate extensively with product managers across technology teams, representing pharmacy customer needs and ensuring project outcomes align with stakeholder goals.

  • Champion best practices in project management, process improvement, and data/reporting standards across teams.

  • Facilitate change management initiatives, driving adoption and harmonization of new processes and standards.

  • Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority, fostering collaboration and buy-in.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare administration, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Critical Skills

  • 7 years of experience in project management, preferably within healthcare or pharmacy data environments (industry experience is preferred but not required).

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex, cross-functional projects and driving process improvement.

  • Experience working as a product manager or product owner, or in close partnership with product management teams, is highly beneficial.

  • Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Confluence, Jira).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, demonstrating initiative and self-direction.

Additional Skills

  • Experience working with community oncology practices or data is highly desirable.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$107,200 - $178,600
