Senior Director IT - Digital Banking

What you'll do:

As a Senior IT Director, you'll lead the delivery of technology solutions focused on Digital Banking Migration, Digital Account Onboarding, and CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) platforms and roadmap. You will leverage partnerships with other technology teams (e.g. Architecture, Infrastructure, Engineering, and Support), business teams and leaders, strategic partners, and third-party technology providers. Additionally, you'll collaborate with internal business partners to proactively address ongoing customer needs and ensure rapid resolution to open issues. In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery of working software. You will be accountable for strategic planning, evaluation of technology standards, and delivery of high-value execution. You will also be responsible for comprehensive project planning, removing impediments, and tracking overall performance to achieve business goals.
  • Broad accountability for delivery and support of Digital Banking Migration, Digital Account Onboarding, and CIAM platforms.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives across banking platforms, ensuring successful migration and onboarding experiences.
  • Collaborate with product vendors and internal stakeholders to define and execute platform roadmaps.
  • Lead agile delivery teams and promote adoption of Agile methodologies and rituals.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships and stakeholder engagement across financial services.
  • Partner with HR and IT Leadership's to build and implement a strategy for employee development, retention, resource allocation, talent management, performance management, and achieve a diverse and engaged workforce as well as recruit, train, and evaluate staff members' work.
  • Lead budget planning as well as manage budget(s), business cases, execution plans, and operating plans for their respective teams as well as build strategy of the resource plan to achieve established program priorities.
  • Ensure the IT organization as well as the enterprise are proactively providing for risk management and cyber security processes and controls that are in alignment with the risk appetite for the Bank, as well as applicable regulatory and enterprise risk management expectations.

What you'll need:

  • 15+ years of related experience in IT delivery, engineering, and digital transformation within financial services or banking.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing large technology teams and complex digital migration programs
  • Advanced knowledge of banking regulations, compliance obligations, and industry standards
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and vendor collaboration.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation and CIAM implementations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
